William Adams | Relic Fine Jewelry

A Hand Engraver, Jeweler, Gemologist, Gem Cutter, and teacher

William Adams is the owner of Relic Fine Jewelry and a Polysmith, GIA-trained in gemology and jewelry-making, who facets his own gemstones and hand-engraves heirloom-quality pieces where the design grows directly from the stone.

William's Story

William Adams is a Polysmith, an artist and craftsman specializing in every aspect of fine jewelry creation. His expertise spans gemology, lapidary arts, jewelry design, hand fabrication, advanced stone setting, hand engraving, and quality control.

He began his formal training in metalsmithing at a local community college, which sparked a deeper passion that led him to the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. There, he earned diplomas as a Graduate Gemologist, Graduate Jeweler, and Accredited Jewelry Professional. Always seeking to refine his craft, William continued his education at the GRS Training Center in Kansas and the New Approach School for Jewelers in Tennessee.

William’s passion for gemology naturally evolved into the lapidary arts, where he now facets many of his own gemstones. By cutting the centerpiece of a Relic himself, he’s able to create even more distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces, where the design is inspired directly by the stone itself.

In 2019, he founded Relic Fine Jewelry, a venture dedicated to creating handcrafted, heirloom-quality fine jewelry.

William offers multiple services ranging from custom jewelry, small batch collections, lapidary and stone artistry, and beginner hand engraving and setting classes.
